Trainspotting (BG) - PIMK Rail & Rail Cargo Carrier in tandem @IvoRadoev

Since the beginning of the summer of 2021 Rail Cargo Carrier (part of ÖBB Group) started to operate intermodal trains through Sofia and Serbia (instead only through Romania and Russe). Initially these trains were served by PIMK Rail, but recently RCC took over these services.
On there are two container trains towards Turkey, spotted at different locations which are led by Siemens Vectron and Smartron of PIMK Rail, while a Taurus locomotive of ÖBB is helping from the back for the ascent towards Vakarel station.

$BDZ steam loco 01.23 from Sofia to Mezdra / Парен локомотив 01.23 от София до Мездра #trainspotting #steamlocomotive On May 18 the classic steam loco 01.23 of BDZ hauled a special train from Sofia to Mezdra and back. The State operator organized the excursion to Cherepish monastery for diplomats and their families. The group has the privilege to travel with the carriages of Corona express and some of the wagons of Vitosha express (the train of Todor Zhivkov - Bulgarian leader during the soviet era). Due to the reconstruction of Sofia central station, the train had to take a longer route - through Kazichene, Yana and Svetovrachane. However this provide more opportunities for the spotters to take photos and videos at interesting and untypically for such train places. In the video you can enjoy the work of the beautiful steam loco 01.23, made in Winterthur (Switzerland) in 1935, passing through many beautiful places, including the Iskar river gorge, some servicing works in the depot of Mezdra and also the turning of the direction at the locomotive turntable. На 18 май класическият парен локомотив 01.23 на БДЖ обслужи специален влак от София до Мездра и обратно. Държавният оператор организира екскурзия до Черепишкия манастир за дипломати и техните семейства. Групата имаше привилегията да пътува с вагоните на Корона експрес и някои от вагоните на Витоша експрес (влакът на Тодор Живков). Заради реконструкцията на Централна гара София се наложи влакът да мине по по-дълъг маршрут - през Казичене, Яна и Световрачане. Това обаче предостави повече възможности на жп феновете да направят снимки и видеоклипове на влака на повече и по-интересни и нетипични за такъв тип влак места. Във видеото може да се насладите на работата на красивия локомотив 01.23, произведен през 1935 г. във Винтертур, Швейцария, преминаващ през няколко красиви места, вкл. и Искърското дефиле, работа по обслужване на локомотива в депо Мездра и обръщането на посоката му на движение на локомотивния обръщател. $Trainspotting (BG) - DB Cargo loans EA3000 locomotives to BDZ-PP In the beginning of 2020 due to the lack of enough operating locomotives BDZ-PP was forced to hire locomotives from DB Cargo for some of the passenger services on the main line Sofia - Svilengrad. The lease agreement was for approximately 1 year and in March 2020 86 014 of DB Cargo hauled its first passenger train in Bulgaria. You can watch its debut in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LewCtcI3n4w After that I managed to catch it again many times, as well as some of the other locomotives class 86 of DB Cargo (ex-DB Schenker). In this trainspotting compilation you can enjoy the beautiful EA 3000 locomotives passing through many different locations mostly with IC trains 1611/1614 and in the end - with regional train 10114. These were probably one of the most interesting moments for the trainspotters in 2020 in Bulgaria. After the delivery of the brand new Siemens Smartron locomotives and after some of the Skodas were overhauled in Czech Republic, BDZ-PP overcome the crisis with the lack of operating locomotives and I dont think we can see them to hire again locomotives from the private operators (at least in the next 4-5 years). В началото на 2020 г. поради липсата на достатъчно работоспособни локомотиви БДЖ-ПП се принуди да наеме локомотиви от ДБ Карго за някои от влаковете по първа главна жп линия между София и Свиленград. Подписан бе договор за наем, който бе с продължителност около година и в началото на март 2020 г. локомотив 86 014 на ДБ Карго обслужи своя първи пътнически влак в България. В тази компилация ще може да се насладите на красивите локомотиви ЕА 3000, преминаващи през различни локации, основно с БВ 1611/1614 и в самия край на видеото - с ПВ 10114. Тези моменти може би бяха едни от най-интересните за трейнспотърите в България през 2020 г. След доставката на вече значителен брой от новите локомотиви Смартрон на Сименс и след завръщането на няколко преминали капитален ремонт локомотиви Шкода в Чехия, БДЖ-ПП превъзмогна до известна степен кризата за работещи локомотиви и мисля че едва ли ще ги видим отново да наемат локомотиви от който и да било от частните оператори (или поне не и в близко бъдеще).
