Norwich is the northern terminus of the Great Eastern Main Line (GEML) from London Liverpool Street and the focal point of the Wherry Lines. It sees services by Greater Anglia to a variety of destinations around East Anglia and the East of England, as well as East Midlands Railway, for which it is the origin point of their mammoth Norwich-Nottingham-Liverpool service.
This was my second visit to Norwich, and was pleased to report that the Class 745s and 755s have settled in well to their duties after almost 5 years in service. The variety here at Norwich is definitely not what it once was in the pre-COVID days, but it's always welcome to see the odd EMR service turn up every now and then.
