A lot of skill-based training asks for patience.
I’ve noticed this clearly with macebell work. The body needs time to understand the path, the timing, and how to stay organized through the swing.
At the same time, life doesn’t pause around practice.
Especially with kids, interruptions are part of the environment.
I’ve found that learning when to stop, reset, and return becomes part of the training itself.
It brings a different kind of awareness, especially when working with heavier weight.
As this continues, both the movement and the response around it tend to become more steady and intentional.
