Dogs are highly intelligent. Teaching dogs not to bark when guests come over and teaching them what are not threats will not mean they won't notice and alert you to perceived suspicious behavior. Giving dogs feedback such as telling them good job when it is something creepy, or if it's not a threat telling them it's not so they can ignore it next time.
