The Evanston Roundhouse Festival takes place in the restored Union Pacific Roundhouse. There are vendors of all sorts and 5 modular railroads.
Evanston is only 80 miles from Salt Lake City or Ogden. It's becoming a fun destination for all outdoor activities, but the restored roundhouse, shops, and the restored depot are great places to hold events.
They are also restoring Union Pacific 4420, the original Evanston shop switcher in the unfinished part of the roundhouse.
