This Davis video has some goodies in it. AMTK 164, the phase IV heritage unit, leads the westbound California Zephyr. The biweekly local from Ozol, the LRJ48, is seen with four GPs pulling into Davis. They drop off cars to be interchanged with California Northern Railroad. A westbound Amtrak Capitol Corridor broke down right in front of me, so they had an eastbound Capitol couple up and drag it back to Sacramento. Then, the double set would proceed west to Oakland. A F40 cabbage, AMTK 90218, made a rare appearance on the Capitol Corridor. These cabbages are held for Gold Runner service, but once in a blue moon a cabbage will head up the Cal-P when no other cab cars are available. Enjoy the video!
