Winters along Donner Pass are so beautiful. When them UP Roseville Sub gets filled with snow, it is such a sight to see. When it's not too cold but there's snow everywhere and the sun is out, that is the perfect day to be trackside. This video includes some UP and Amtrak trains climbing through the snow. The eastbound California Zephyr 6 had AMTK 160 'Pepsi Can' on the point with a cool private car bringing up the rear. I ended up chasing that to Truckee where I had lunch. Enjoy the snow!
