...It's been a while, huh? Almost two months of inactivity this time around. Just saying that out loud gives me both an headache and a feeling of shame.
I'll plain out admit that I've had a lack of interest in Touhou and uploading for the past two months. My life is rather busy lately, and I've had other things to think about. That, and I guess that I've been trying to get interested in something else than Touhou. To do more of my time than just stay on the computer, to try and find something else to get addicted and talk about... It was a crave of change more than anything, really. I suppose that staying on the same interest for almost eight years can do that to people, eh?
However, now I can officially declare that I am back! Who knows if my words mean anything after saying the same sentence every time, but I have a feeling that this time is the right one.
Ringing Volcano is a new circle made by the one and only Nakasako Sakana, the founder of Machikado-Mapoze, which is one my personal favourite circles around. I don't exactly know the specific details as to why he decided to go and create a second circle, since I believe that Machikado is still active (don't quote me on that, though). However, whatever the reason, I sure am glad to see more of him. He's such a fantastic artist, and all of his tracks just scream originality and have a special flair to them. It's really magical. This artist actually has a Youtube channel if you didn't know, and I think that it might be worth to go ahead and subscribe to him
This track is so nice. It makes me imagine a young reporter kid running in the streets of an older London, with her sidekick following behind while being chased away by the authorities for making trouble. They run away, hide to catch up their breath, then get spotted again before starting to run once more and escape to the outskirts of the city. I've tried to show that kind of scene with my picture choice, and I daresay that I did a good job with it.
Now... This upload has a special meaning. It happens that there has been three birthdays in the last few days, and I've missed two of them. I feel a bit lazy to do it this way, but I honestly didn't prepare enough to go and make a proper upload for each of these people. As such, I hereby dedicate this upload to Marisa, Nii and Koishi.
Sure, I didn't manage to prepare an upload for each of you guys, but I have some nice words to say, so this sort of makes up for it, right? ... Okay fine, it totally doesn't. Let me say them anyway.
You three have been very good friends, if you didn't know already. Seriously, I love the Touhou scene because of the fact that there are people like you that are so easy to connect with. I'm not the most sociable person around, but I've managed to go and make friends with people that I actually don't know in real life. One could argue with that claim, since bounding with Internet people is a tad bit easier, but having actual meaningful relations? That's one hard step, let me tell you.

A parade of zombies. In an almost unnaturally straight line, zombies were dancing and screaming while parading to their hearts content.
Its that time of the year already! The time where children disguise themselves and go ask for treats around in the streets, where the adults need to accompany the small ones, and where we who stay at home need to buy some more candy to give!
Im admittedly not the most enthusiastic person around, but even I know when to put on a smile and be happy about the upcoming hours. Halloween has such a friendly atmosphere, and everyone is walking around with their kids or friends, wandering in the barely lighted streets in search for wonderful sugar. I dont like sugar much myself, but I certainly wouldnt refuse some chocolate.
Its kind of a shame that I need to upload this at this hour (its only 4 PM here, so the party havent even started yet), but its my only option since Im going to go sleep at a friends house tonight. It doesnt exactly makes the upload less hyping or anything, but I still admit that I would have liked to write this description during the night, hearing the children giggling outside my window.
In any case, Im quite happy to actually have managed to create a video for a special occasion for once. I missed Cirno Day, then I missed Touhous Official 10th birthday... It was starting to bug me big time.
I was very mixed between going for a more darker upload, or if I should go for a light mood. In the end, however, I went with the lighter mood since I feel that this is how I perceive Halloween as a whole. I usually dont wait for Halloween to be scared, but rather to have a day where everyone is happy and enjoy a common cause. Thats what makes it truly special for me.
Of course, a lighter mood meant an arrangement that is moderately well known. I already had the idea for a while, so finding a good track wasnt an issue. This album is simply so good and true to pure Jazz, and I couldnt help but upload from it. Even though many have already done so in the past, I will also do so.
The main problem with this project was finding a picture that itched me in a very good side. It was... absolutely tedious. I never expected to have such a hard time finding a good art for Halloween, and even less of Yoshika. Upon finding this one, my face just beamed a huge smile, and I knew what would happen next. In that sense, it was a tedious but very fruitful success.
Im also quite proud of the overall presentation there. I believe that this might just be my best shot so far. The effect at 0:33 was actually pure coincidence, but I think that it did a neat job at introducing the heavy start.
With that being said, I sincerely hope that you will all enjoy, and I wish you a Happy Halloween!

Over the horizon, far beyond what the eyes could see, lied a sky. A dark, gloomy sky with a slight light piercing through the overbearing darkness...
I cant believe that I havent heard of this circle before. This one seems to be a new face that made its appearance in the latest C87. I barely touched anything from that event yet, and after discovering this album and circle, me think that I should perhaps go and discover some more gems. However, the owner of the circle, Veto, is a familiar face that has been around the corner for a very long time. I downright didnt realize that he was the one who made this circle, and for that I feel stupid.
My first impressions about this album are quite positive. It seems to be pretty oriented toward Post Rock and Ambient music, and if you know me well enough, youll know that this is a potential gold mine right there. Id go as far as say that this circle might actually become a Knights of Round spiritual successor. I sincerely do hope that this circle will appear in the next event. I really do.
Regarding this track now... You have no idea how hyped I was when I first listened to this track. All my senses tingled in sync, and I knew for a fact that it had a place worth of my channel. It sounds so old-fashioned, has a great atmosphere, and keeps the same tone for the whole time. Thats everything that I love about KoR in one song, and this track managed to execute it all flawlessly.
On a side note, this is actually the first time that I upload an arrangement from Ten Desires, which is a bit sad admittedly. The thing is, I cant seem to find good arrangements of my favourites themes from TD, or any sweet arranges of the game period. There are a decent amount of Piano pieces, and while Im debating whether I should upload some or not at the moment, Im honestly feeling like I want something else than Piano. I recently just found an album with about four arranges of Mamizous theme, and I am definitely considering uploading a track from it.
Before closing this description, Id like to mention that my frequency of uploads will be very low for the coming week. The anime convention that I mentioned a few uploads ago is coming this Friday, and I will have my hands busy with this. I should be able to upload more regularly starting next week.

The bright sun was illuminating the landscapes. The leaves, shining with all their radiance, was a sign that Summer was on its way. The heat was very high, and while that ruined the day for certain residents, the others were quite happy and were enjoying themselves.
Summer Breaks! That sentence rings sweetly into my ears. I mean, who wouldnt enjoy two months of break? Its that time of the year where you simply lay on your bed and do absolutely nothing. No stress, no paper, no writing whatsoever with a pencil... I can finally feel at peace. The possibilities are endless; Theres so much that I could do! But instead of that, I just stay in my room and play on the computer.
This arrangement is so joyful and happy. I was literally smiling on my chair when I first heard this one. It conveys such a feeling of peace and liberty, it still amazes me. Nitoris theme for me always has been happy, since the vibes are just so upbeat. Its basically a greeting from a sweet and shy kappa. Ive heard tons upon tons of Nitori arranges, and I gotta admit, this one might just be yet another favourite. Its going to be a challenge to defeat that one!
Anyway, while were at it, Id like to speak about some of my plans for Summer Breaks. Yes, I LIED. I actually have some activities that Im planning to do, mainly in August though. First off, theres an anime convention called the Otakuthon (so original) coming in Quebec starting August 7 and going away the 9. Its a three days activity where you can pretty much do any thing that you do in a normal convention really. Its not such a huge event per say, but there are way smaller conventions than this one. It happens each year, although I never had the chance to go there in person since 2006 - 2007. Friends told me that it had a gigantic change since Ive been there, and I honestly cant wait to see.
Now I wouldnt go to a convention if nothing interested me, right? The main reason that Im going there is because of one important point : Theres a massive Touhou gathering going on. Like Ive seen the photos and was quite impressed by how big it looks. These folks are going to sell CDs, Doujin works, figures and also organize a special Touhou contest. Yep, if I want to, I could actually go there and challenge people at playing Danmaku with me. I believe that its going to be a tournament kind of thing, so perhaps it could be interesting.
Apart from that, my father and I might go visit some places by train or something similar. I havent had the chance to go on a trip in all my life, so this is bound to be interesting. Seeing some beautiful landscapes and breathing some fresh air sounds very wonderful indeed.

The land of fantasies. Something that we of the Outside World would never imagine possible lies right in front of our eyes. Landscapes, mountains, rivers, clouds... Everything seem so amazing, and yet, this is nothing but the usual of Gensokyo.
Where to start? Yes indeed, that is a good question... Where should I start? So many things to say, so many words to write, and such a restricted description for it all.
Its kind of scary how November is already ending in barely two weeks. Last time I uploaded was the 2th, and now I check the date and realize that its been sixteen days since then. It gives me the impression that the year just wants to sprint the last mile and go on with 2016, which shouldnt happen because time doesnt have any sense of hurry. And well, uploading only once in the entire month gives a bad taste in my mouth.
Lately Ive been kind of questioning my channel, truth be told. Dont worry, I dont plan on quitting or anything of the sort. Im mostly thinking about the channels productivity and quality as a whole.
See, from the very beginning, Ive been into the mentality of Ill upload what I find interesting, not just masterpieces, which so far has worked out pretty well. Recently, though, Ive started to think about it a bit deeper, and came to realize that it really feels like I just throw these uploads into a pile, not really taking the time like I should and just uploading track after track without much second thought. It became very apparent when I started to work on this upload here. You see, this track here is something that I wanted to share on my channel for the longest of times, but couldnt because of many reasons and pointless worries. While searching for pictures, and listening to it a few dozens of times, I suddenly had a revelation. It occurred to me that I havent felt quite like this for a long time, that I havent uploaded something that I held so close to my heart for a long while. Then it made me start to think; Maybe that I should actually start picking my uploads a lot more carefully, and then actually take what amazes me instead of just what I like. That way, Id probably feel as thrilled as this one for about any uploads that I put time on. It is just a thought, but a thought that might be worth investigating further.
Anyway, that aside. I absolutely adore this track. The fact that I restrained myself for so long, and how I felt guilty when I didnt do the editing properly to show its splendor truly goes to show how much I love it. It tells a story, a passion. I can see huge landscapes unfolding in front of me, I can see the clouds slowly moving to let place to the blazing sun of woe... Its a masterpiece unlike any others, and I dont believe that words will do it justice. Instead, I explained it through pictures. I know that these two pictures have been used all too many times already, but I sincerely felt like nothing than them could show the song the way I want to show it.
Theres also a special reason of why I insisted so much about picking this one for tonight... And that reason is well... all of you. Ive reached two hundred subscribers a few days ago, something that I havent thought to reach for a lot longer than that. It may not be a huge number per say, but simply knowing that I have two hundred people who follow such a modest and admittedly not very quality oriented channel fills me with a lot of joy. I wont make a huge oral presentation about it, but know that Im glad inside. Thank you everyone.

In such rainy days, the girl couldnt do much except for reading and drinking tea as she glanced at the raining scenery at the other side of her window.
What a day. Rainy, no movement whatsoever, a visit to the hospital (with a really painful needle treatment at that), and just an overall monotone vibe surrounding the air. Then again, Im sort of used to days like these, so Im not complaining too much. Its the beginning of November, and rain is imminent.
Its the kind of video where I honestly dont have too much to say, much like that 金蓮亭 upload from a while ago. I didnt put an extravagant amount of effort into this one, but that doesnt mean that I simply threw this all together and uploaded it either.
I love how simplistic this track is, and how it represents accurately my mood during such rainy days. I usually take a book, do homework while drinking some tea and watch with a somewhat empty expression outside while listening to the sound of falling drops.
This picture fits very well, and Im glad to have found it. Might actually put that one as wallpaper someday, so it was a fine discovery.

Greetings, everyone. So I have mentioned a certain upload not related to Touhou in the last upload, and this is it. FELT originals always had a place in my heart, considering how nice they are.
I realized that Ive been missing on FELT for a while now. I decided to give a spin to their albums, and I found myself immersed by their contents.
Sometimes its fast, sometimes its fierce, and for other times its calm. FELT has a wide variety when it comes to tones, since they manage to put so many kinds of expressions in their albums and songs. Quite impressive I daresay. It reminds me of =Neutral=, although in a more positive fashion than them.
I decided to upload this song for one particular reason. You perhaps remember that one CROWS CLAW upload that I shared with you all a while back, but that I then decided to retire from my channel for reasons of respect toward the circle. Well, Ive seen many comments of subscribers who missed this upload, and I felt like I needed to show you something similar. This song is my answer to you. I find it very similar, and Im certain that you will find some peace listening to it.
With that being said, I do hope that you will enjoy, albeit this is a rather unusual upload.

...none. A lonely vampire, along with an empty Scarlet Mansion.
Man, its already that time of the year. I cant believe how fast October went by. I dont know about you folks, but I totally didnt see the month come or end. Pretty crazy how time works sometimes, Ill say. ...Either that, or my notion is time is horrid.
So anyway. I really wanted to do something special for this Halloween, even if Im not exactly enthusiastic about this event anymore. Its probably a mix of many things, if I had to guess. I dont upload on a daily schedule anymore, both the theme and the circle happen to be favourites of mine... All sorts of different feelings simply gave me the needed burst to do something and do it right. I can proudly say that this the video that Ive put the most effort into yet, so Im definitely satisfied.
My biggest goal with this project was to explain a story through the pictures. I mostly inspired myself based on how Shujiki used to do things, although saying that I did just like how he did would be a vast overestimation. I have no idea if my idea even came out right or not, but at least I tried to make something, I suppose.
It follows the story of Flandre, who becomes free from her room after the door suddenly unlocks itself. Overjoyed, she bursts out of her prison and flies around the entire mansion, rediscovering every corners as humanly possible.
Hours pass, and a thought suddenly crosses the young vampires mind; Where is everyone? She assumed that they were off to the shrine for a party or special occasion, and thus held that thought away.
However, soon hours became days, and days became weeks. The mansion was still empty. Loneliness invaded the young vampires mind, who wanted contact with someone. Whats the point of being free if there is no one to greet you? she thought. The hope that everyone will come back still was fresh into her heart, although despair was still closely following.
Once weeks became months, her mind shattered. She went back to the basement, where loneliness was only but usual, and sank into a deep, eternal sleep...
Thats about the gist of it. Ive put a decent amount of time into the idea, but its definitely nothing to be taken seriously as a whole. It was simply something to go along such a gloomy track, and I do hope that it did its duty.
Anyhow, with that being said, I wish you all a Happy Halloween, with many candies or any snacks for those who dont fancy such sugary substances!

Greetings everyone. Since I dont feel like writing an introductory sentence this time, Im afraid that you will have to read a normal description for once.
This arrangement attracted me right away. Its nothing extravagant, its actually simple. No epic use of guitars, no wonderful sound effects, no beautiful vocals. Its simply a decent arrangement of Necrofantasia. So why did I went and upload this one? Well, its exactly because of the fact that its so simple. Personally, while I enjoy these masterpieces and these otherworldly pieces that we can hear now and then, a part of me needs simplicity. I love masterpieces, but I also love simple arranges like this one. It just brings me back in the old times, so to speak. When I listen to arrangements like this one, I feel like I can understand how my dad felt years ago you know? And that very emotion makes me quite happy.
Finding a fitting picture for this was a lot more tedious than I anticipated. I first thought that finding a nice looking Yukari picture would be a piece of cake, but it seems that I was wrong. There are lots of fine images out there, but none actually fitted what I had in mind. In the end, I used this one. Its simple, atmospheric, and feels very appropriated for this song. Its also the first Touhou wallpaper that I ever saved, which makes it somewhat symbolic for me.
With that being said, I do hope that you will all enjoy as per usual. Rock certainly feels good now and then.

Greetings everyone. Today I bring you a special video. Its not exactly as usual, although it still is music, so dont worry about that.
This whole video is dedicated to a dear friend of mine, with which I have shared and spoke so much during the past few months or so. His name is... Marisa.
Im fairly certain that you have heard of him, since he is decently well known (three hundred subscribers is not too high, but its still a fine number). His channel is very interesting, and it has an unique charm to it. He uploads what others havent uploaded, which in turn gives his music library a particular taste to it. I bet that you havent heard most of what is on his channel.
To the matter at hands, now. A few days ago, he announced that it was it was, in fact, his birthday. Being the individual that I am, I would usually have uploaded this gift on the very day, but some unexpected events happened, so I had to postpone it.
This upload right there is a personal gem of mine. Ive known about this circle for a while, but it seems like I completely forgot about this arrangement, which is oddly forgetful of me. Marisa adores Male vocals, so I thought He loves male vocals, so why not upload what I consider the best arrange with male vocals?. He already knows about overTuner, but that doesnt mean that I cant surprise him.
Believe it or not, this arrangement took a very long time to identify. I dont understand why, but it took me about two days to pinpoint the original theme. Nii helped me to identify it, so he has my thanks.
In any case, I did my very best with this whole upload, and I genuinely hope that the witch will enjoy.
Oh, before we end. Now that I think about it, my channel is going to reach a first milestone. So you can expect something to celebrate this event~

During quiet nights, in the forest, lies a Nightbird. This bird is said to make lost men night blind, which then make them unable to see during the night. Some have claimed to have seen what the creature looks like, but can we truly believe blind men?
Greetings, everyone. Ive been gone for a few days, and Ive been unable to upload anything for the past three days. Ive slept over at a friends house, which is something that I havent done in a very long time. It felt nice, but after so much socializing, I simply needed to take a break and become an hermit for a day.
Whats this? An upload from Reitaisai? What in the world is going on? you may ask (once again). Well, lets just say that I decided to open my doors toward new music as well as old. I used to dedicate this channel to older arranges, since I feel like this is where the true magic lies, but after giving the newer stuff a listen, I then came to realize that Ive been nothing but a blind fool, and that the magic isnt yet gone.
Out of the whole list so far, Id have to say that Moon-Tone managed to grab my attention the most. A circle that I never heard of, but the simple mention of Touhou Relax made me squeal over it in a second short. I also took the time and listened to some Yonder Voice along the way, which was definitely very satisfying. I will most likely upload a Yonder track as well somewhere in the line of things.
This arrangement, or rather, this whole album, is pure soothing gold. I havent had such a satisfied impression of an album for a very long time (last time goes back to that one specific TAMUSIC album from a few years ago). It feels so nice to listen to, and to my surprise, all the tracks pleased me in one way or another, which is even rarer. It took a great deal of thinking to find the track that I would upload, but in the end, this track here won the contest. The original theme is already a theme that I consider to be a ZUN gem in itself, and this arrange truly gave justice to it. I can totally picture an afternoon in the dank forest, with Mystia hanging on a tree, singing softly far and loud toward the skies above, with Wriggle listening with a little smile. Its beautiful. Nothing about the whole thing feels wrong or out of place. Simple yet so satisfying and gorgeous.
The picture actually took me a good deal of time to find. There were so many fine choices, and believe me, I had at least nine pictures saved that I had to carefully choose and analyze. I did my best to convey the feeling that I had while listening to this, and I certainly hope that it shows.
Anyway, before closing this description, Id like to add that although I do intend on uploading some tracks from Reitaisai, it wont be a frequent occurrence. I have about four tracks in mind, but no more than that. After these, I will be back on my usual schedule of older arranges.

Two investigators searching for mysteries. Roaming around the vast cities in search of something interesting or out of place, the two girls were now talking about the potential existence of the Moon.
...What an half baked introduction that was. Jesus, I feel so bad and lazy for putting something generic like that. I first wanted to put some well written Maribel/Renko dialogues, but since the description is restricted, it wouldnt fit. So you folks will have to do with that description for today (until I probably just go and write a brick about these two somewhere else, that is).
Anyway. Heres something a tad bit different today. Its not Touhou, nor instruments, nor piano, so that probably marks it as different, doesnt it?
Its actually an original composition, made in MIDI. Let me just clarify that; you wont ever see that here. Not because I dislike the genre by any means, but because finding actual masterful compositions comes every few blue moons, which could be translated as never. Its so rare to find MIDI arrangements to begin with, but actual original tracks? You wouldnt even believe.
Im pretty sure that you can understand why Im so hyped and happy to upload this here. Honestly, I didnt even have a second thought before uploading this, which is very rare. I found this album about a week ago, and upon finding it, I already knew that one track of it was going to come and steal all my priorities.
You know, its an interesting case here, since this track is not amazingly outstanding or actually breathtaking. Its just that finding original tracks, be it on any instruments, makes me happy, since it both is something that I have never heard, plus it sometimes even gives me some ideas for potential pieces. In this case, however, its nothing quite like that. What sold me was how it sounds like something that ZUN would do, and it took my breath away. I know some people arent fond of MIDI tracks, since they sometimes are too similar to the original substance, or in Touhous case, it sounds too similar to what you hear in the games.
Personally, I give high respect to artists who decide to go and do arrangements that sound very similar to ZUNs style, but over all that, I have the highest respect for artists who manage to do something very true to how ZUN does it, while also adding their own punch or twist to it. Thats the case here. It simply makes me feel like if I just found out that ZUN made a new CD full of new original tracks, and it makes me happy.
Pictures are where I had more than one dilemma to cope with. I first wanted to go with a somewhat urban-like atmosphere, with a huge landscape full of buildings, something that gave a big mysterious yet so familiar vibe, but ended up having to give up on that idea. Then, I instead went with something more simple, with a few very familiar traits and a certain something that just makes you feel like youve seen this scenery all too often. To my surprise, it worked! I was happy with the result, although I still wish that my other idea could have gotten to the ending point.
In any case, I believe that Im done here. I apologize for the rather messy description today, but my thoughts were just blowing up left and right, and it became pretty crazy after a few lines.
I sincerely hope that youll enjoy this one, albeit it is indeed in the more unique department. To the next Paradise...
