Greetings, everyone. I've been gone for a few days, and I've been unable to upload anything for the past three days. I've slept over at a friend's house, which is something that I haven't done in a very long time. It felt nice, but after so much socializing, I simply needed to take a break and become an hermit for a day.
"What's this? An upload from Reitaisai? What in the world is going on?" you may ask (once again). Well, let's just say that I decided to open my doors toward new music as well as old. I used to dedicate this channel to older arranges, since I feel like this is where the true magic lies, but after giving the newer stuff a listen, I then came to realize that I've been nothing but a blind fool, and that the magic isn't yet gone.
Out of the whole list so far, I'd have to say that Moon-Tone managed to grab my attention the most. A circle that I never heard of, but the simple mention of "Touhou Relax" made me squeal over it in a second short. I also took the time and listened to some Yonder Voice along the way, which was definitely very satisfying. I will most likely upload a Yonder track as well somewhere in the line of things.
This arrangement, or rather, this whole album, is pure soothing gold. I haven't had such a satisfied impression of an album for a very long time (last time goes back to that one specific TAMUSIC album from a few years ago). It feels so nice to listen to, and to my surprise, all the tracks pleased me in one way or another, which is even rarer. It took a great deal of thinking to find the track that I would upload, but in the end, this track here won the contest. The original theme is already a theme that I consider to be a ZUN gem in itself, and this arrange truly gave justice to it. I can totally picture an afternoon in the dank forest, with Mystia hanging on a tree, singing softly far and loud toward the skies above, with Wriggle listening with a little smile. It's beautiful. Nothing about the whole thing feels wrong or out of place. Simple yet so satisfying and gorgeous.
The picture actually took me a good deal of time to find. There were so many fine choices, and believe me, I had at least nine pictures saved that I had to carefully choose and analyze. I did my best to convey the feeling that I had while listening to this, and I certainly hope that it shows.
Anyway, before closing this description, I'd like to add that although I do intend on uploading some tracks from Reitaisai, it won't be a frequent occurrence. I have about four tracks in mind, but no more than that. After these, I will be back on my usual schedule of older arranges.

Two investigators searching for mysteries. Roaming around the vast cities in search of something interesting or out of place, the two girls were now talking about the potential existence of the Moon.
...What an half baked introduction that was. Jesus, I feel so bad and lazy for putting something generic like that. I first wanted to put some well written Maribel/Renko dialogues, but since the description is restricted, it wouldnt fit. So you folks will have to do with that description for today (until I probably just go and write a brick about these two somewhere else, that is).
Anyway. Heres something a tad bit different today. Its not Touhou, nor instruments, nor piano, so that probably marks it as different, doesnt it?
Its actually an original composition, made in MIDI. Let me just clarify that; you wont ever see that here. Not because I dislike the genre by any means, but because finding actual masterful compositions comes every few blue moons, which could be translated as never. Its so rare to find MIDI arrangements to begin with, but actual original tracks? You wouldnt even believe.
Im pretty sure that you can understand why Im so hyped and happy to upload this here. Honestly, I didnt even have a second thought before uploading this, which is very rare. I found this album about a week ago, and upon finding it, I already knew that one track of it was going to come and steal all my priorities.
You know, its an interesting case here, since this track is not amazingly outstanding or actually breathtaking. Its just that finding original tracks, be it on any instruments, makes me happy, since it both is something that I have never heard, plus it sometimes even gives me some ideas for potential pieces. In this case, however, its nothing quite like that. What sold me was how it sounds like something that ZUN would do, and it took my breath away. I know some people arent fond of MIDI tracks, since they sometimes are too similar to the original substance, or in Touhous case, it sounds too similar to what you hear in the games.
Personally, I give high respect to artists who decide to go and do arrangements that sound very similar to ZUNs style, but over all that, I have the highest respect for artists who manage to do something very true to how ZUN does it, while also adding their own punch or twist to it. Thats the case here. It simply makes me feel like if I just found out that ZUN made a new CD full of new original tracks, and it makes me happy.
Pictures are where I had more than one dilemma to cope with. I first wanted to go with a somewhat urban-like atmosphere, with a huge landscape full of buildings, something that gave a big mysterious yet so familiar vibe, but ended up having to give up on that idea. Then, I instead went with something more simple, with a few very familiar traits and a certain something that just makes you feel like youve seen this scenery all too often. To my surprise, it worked! I was happy with the result, although I still wish that my other idea could have gotten to the ending point.
In any case, I believe that Im done here. I apologize for the rather messy description today, but my thoughts were just blowing up left and right, and it became pretty crazy after a few lines.
I sincerely hope that youll enjoy this one, albeit it is indeed in the more unique department. To the next Paradise...

The forest was dank. Darkness covered most of the visibility, and from what little you could see, you could almost say that you were night blind. Shadows in the leaves, in the trees, and perhaps even just behind you.
Greetings everyone. Tonight I bring to you all a very unique arrangement of one of the best themes in Imperishable Night in my honest opinion.
The first stage of this game always impressed me. Its so different from what I usually expect from a Stage 1, and each time that I listen to it, I just feel such a satisfying feeling. ZUN knew exactly what kind of mood and atmosphere that he wanted to give the listeners and players, and I can proudly say that he manged to do just that. Its dark, creepy, and hints that a mysterious occurrence is currently invading the magical land. Its the kind of theme that you simply cannot expect what to see at the end.
This arrangement is really good. Its an interesting mix of Rock, Acoustic and male vocals. The vocals take a while to show up, but once they do, they add so much to the song. Of course, I wont deny that I would like to hear a version without the vocals, since I feel like it would be quite amazing. But the vocalist is an important element to the arrange as well, so I dont mind.
I searched far and long for a fitting picture, and upon seeing this one, I just had a huge moment of This is it!. The whole picture is perfect for what I had in mind, and the artist has a lot of talents with details. Words wont express properly what I want to say.
Anyway, I do hope that you will enjoy this one. Its a bit darker than the more recent uploads, but I find that dark atmosphere to be somehow soothing, wouldnt you say?

Over the water stream of a Deserted Hell lied a boat. In it were a Crow and a Cat, floating slowly through the forgotten abysses of Hell...
Lullaby arranges always have a certain melancholic tones to them, and this one is most definitely no exception. It feels so... empty. A kind of emptiness of those who wander through the empty lands of Hell. While it is empty, however, there is a slight feeling of contentment and serenity in it, and I find that wonderful. The instruments truly speak for themselves in this one.
There actually is a Vocal version in the album. Its amazing, and the vocalist manages to bring so much more than the instruments alone can. However, I felt like the background percussion was drowned by the voice, and that bugged me a bit. The instruments just give so many emotions, and I believe that they can speak for themselves without the need of a voice.
I had a hard time finding an appropriate picture to use here. Its not that there is a lack of choice, but rather that the tone is a lot emptier than what Im used to. This picture depicts everything that I had in mind while listening to this, and thus was more than perfect.
I sincerely do hope that you will enjoy this one. Its very close to my heart, and Im confident that you will also realize the potential of it.

A Youkai was walking into the woods. She was walking and jumping lowly while doing so. She seemed to have fun. Looking around her surroundings with such a cute expression that could crack even the fiercest of soldiers.
Before beginning, I would like to apologize for being absent for almost two weeks. You see, my sister injected a deadly virus into my computer by navigating on Tumblr, and I had to send it to my friends house for repair. It took longer than expected, but she contacted me yesterday to announce me that I could come over to pick it up. I did so in quite a hurry, and am rather glad that it all managed to solve itself in the end.
That aside, I actually had a crave to go and play some EoSD, so I did just that. Upon doing Stage 1, I came to remember how amazing the theme was. I also realized that I had a very deep love for Rumia somehow, something that I wasnt even aware myself. Probably the only time that youll hear me say this, but I love her because... well, shes so darn cute! I mean, its truly an overwhelming cuteness all around. And I do like how clumsy and air-headed she is. Then again, once you realize that she eats humans with cold blood, its not so cute anymore eh...?
This arrangement truly captures a feeling of wandering around during a sunny and bright day to me. Its so lighthearted and peaceful, I simply couldnt help but upload it. Im pretty sure that this by no means the best track in the album, but it certainly is my favourite from it.
I also came to the realization that I have barely uploaded any Female vocals on this channel, so I took the opportunity to do just that. While I enjoy Male vocals quite a lot, these lack certain elements, such as a light voice, a light tone and a sweet atmosphere in general. Male vocalists specializes in deep tones with very deep atmosphere, while Female vocalists are much more versatile. Its these kinds of differences that make the singer that much more important.
In terms of pictures, I first had the idea of putting a rainy scenery with Rumia slowly walking, but then this one spotted my attention, and I thought wow, this fits a lot more than I expected. It was very fun to search for images for this one! Probably because I havent uploaded in such a while.

It was late during the night, and the three Youkai decided to make some food. The blissful silence of such a remote place, along with the low cracking noise of the small fire and the light smell of food mixed in the pure air made this night ever more soothing.
Greetings, people. Its been a while once again, hasnt it. It just so happen that the two times that I upload in a row are right after I come back from the countryside, which is pretty funny on its own.
These days have been a pretty interesting of good and bad things, for better or worse. Im enjoying my summer vacations quite a bit, though these few personal issues definitely have been rather hard on me. All in all, Id say that its been an overall good summer for me, and Im not regretting anything.
I went to visit my aunt over to the countryside for a week, which was something that we already had planned for a while now. We rarely have the occasion to see her since she lives quite far away from the cities, so these rare moments are to be cherished and enjoyed.
Honestly, I cant remember the last time that Ive been so contented. Being away from the city and stress is like a trip towards Nirvana, literally. You dont need to worry about a thing, and the only effort that you need to do is choose what to eat and take care of the dogs. I cant really ask for anything more blissful than that. It did me so much good, and now I feel a tad bit empty inside now that I am back in the cities. I wonder if living over at a remote place like this would be my kind of lifestyle? Who knows.
Kinda crazy to see how were already in August. Time sure went fast, as usual. Not only is my vacations coming to an end, but my birthday is also this week, which feels ever so odd. Time certainly doesnt let me take notice of my surroundings before moving to something else, eh...
Forest306 was a necessary addition to this channel, as many others. Its the one circle that I listen to when I need total immersion for a spell, and it delivers flawlessly in that domain. This track in particular gave me a very big wave of Non Non Biyori, which made me feel rather nostalgic. I almost fell from my chair when I found this picture, which means that I didnt need much searching for that one since I already knew that the outcome would be perfect.

Hello people! I shall refrain myself from doing an introductory sentence this time around and skip to the main description right away if you dont mind.
Lets speak about cakes. So, a few days ago, my mother decided to buy a rather expensive cake from a certain restaurant. Now, when I say expensive, I say around thirty-five bucks, which is admittedly not too expensive but still fairly costly. It was... delicious. Like, really sumptuous and delicate. I never expected to enjoy eating sugar like this once in my life.
Why exactly am I speaking cakes here? Well, its actually pretty coincidental. I was eating a slice of cake in front of the computer when this song suddenly started to play in my playlist. I then stopped eating, glared at the slice and was like ... This song reminds me of a pâtisserie. This started the heavy search of finding an actual Touhou picture with a pâtisserie theme.
Anyway. This track, as youd probably expect by now, sounds heavily French somehow. Either the stereotype or an actual tendency, it simply sounds French to me. Its not over-the-top amazing by any means, but I still think that it is worth sharing because of how simple it is. You will possibly end up repeating it many times over the day, and that wont be because youre amazed; it will be because of the fact that it blends so well with any hour of the day.
Before eating that cake and coming to the philosophical conclusion that this track reminds me of cakes, I first thought about using a Parsee picture with her walking in a very French-like environment, with a parasol and all that stuff. It still fits very nicely in my mind, but the pâtisserie theme overcame it in the end. Speaking of which, can I say how cute this whole picture is? I literally had a warning cuteness overload moment while making this upload. It was some fun times alright~

During the night, in the Forest of Magic, a young girl was walking. Alone, and possibly lost, she wandered around in the dark and gloom forest. After a while, the young maiden encountered a girl, who was searching and collecting mushrooms.
Greetings everyone. First off, Id like to mention the fact that I have deleted the other upload. You see, it would seem that CROWSCLAW doesnt approve at all the fact that uploaders share his works here on Youtube. I thought about keeping it on my channel, but after future thinking, I then decided to delete it, both for my channels safety and for the artists respect. Apologies about that.
Now that this is out of the way, we can now discuss the usual subject. This arrangement truly is fantastic, its so... warm and welcoming. As if I was wandering through the forest, searching for mushrooms calmly and without any rush whatsoever. This is the kind of song that I enjoy the most, since I tend to take my time at doing things, and music like this simply makes me feel at ease.
I tried to do a mini story with the pictures. Nothing big, simply the young girl (which is possibly PC-98 Alice) encountering a slightly eccentric witch and asking her for directions. The blond witch then answers Yere lost? Well, aint that just a bummer? How bout ya help me gatherin these shrooms? Ill help ya gettin out after that ~ze The young girl accepts with some remorse, but ends up enjoying her time. After that, as promised, Marisa guides her out of the forest.
A simple little story, but yet I find it a bit charming, wouldnt you say? A simple arrangement for a simple story.

Searching for a treasure, searching for the keys to the Revival. A young mouse, with a gift for tracking gold and anything shiny, she seeks out the legendary keys allowing her to revive one that she calls Master. Once gathered, and only then, will the crew be able to finally be reunited.
Greetings, people. So Ive been listening to an almost unhealthy amount of Mad Tea Party lately, since Ive been in the mood for their very unique and charming musical talents. GODMOTHER is an album that I enjoy quite a lot, but I only listen to about four tracks out of fourteen. Call it a waste of potential, but a lot of the albums tracks are heavy and fast, which definitely isnt in my tastes. But, in this album also lies gems. True gems. Like this one, for instance. Easily one if not the best arrangement of A Tiny Tiny Clever Commander Ive ever heard. It sounds so... peaceful. Peaceful, with also that hint of an important quest. It truly is beautiful. Id say that it reflects very well how I see Nazrin as a whole; A no-nonsense character who only does what she is asked. In a sense, she reminds me of Youmu, but her arrogance and greed over finding and keeping to herself makes her another character instead.
I really enjoy UFOs cast. Its easily my favourite cast in all of Touhou because of the fact of how much of a family they all are. Its a bit similar to TDs, except that the whole comrade aspect is more personal. While Miko is respected because of charisma and loyalty, Byakuren is accepted and respect because she cares about others. Just like a Godmother, she literally creates a family, and I find that to be extremely touching and heart-warming. This is what I absolutely adore about UFOs cast. In fact, thats what I adore about Touhou period.
Picture-wise, the hardest challenge was to convey that feeling of a mystical and important quest with a nice reward at the end. Id say that I managed to share that feeling of importance quite nicely.

The wind was blowing with considerable power. The stars, shining upon the land, was gracing the rough ground with their blessed light. From atop the mountain, one could see the entirety of Gensokyo. The Scarlet Devil Mansion, The Human Village, The Forest of the Lost... And standing proudly down the mountain was the Hakurei Shrine, with its divine yet rusty energy flowing from it. The sight truly was a Blessing of the Gods.
Aaaaah... Nothing, and I mean, nothing ever manages to beat some Knights of Round. This circle is forever my personal favourite, simply because of how masterful their tracks are. Post-Rock is such a fantastic genre, and KoR manages to bring the full potential out of it. In that regard, this circle will always be the best atmospheric circle around for me.
If that wasnt obvious enough, Im in love with this track. Everything about it is... so otherworldly. Atmosphere is an important factor when it comes to music, and this track created such an atmosphere with an amazing talent. Its the kind of song that I listen to while taking a bath and glancing at the stars above, it creates quite an unique moment.
Theres also another thing that attracts me about this arrangement. This track is an arrange of Unknown X, which I find the lack of arrangements pretty disturbing. Sure, the theme is average at best, I concur. But it has much potential as well, and this track proves it. And lets be honest, the Catfish is the most powerful entity ever created. Yes yes, even more powerful than Yukari!
For one reason or another, hearing this song always made me picture Kanako sitting on the top of a mountain, glancing from above with a melancholic look. I dont know why I picture Kanako, but it just seems so right to me. The song simply has that sad yet somewhat melancholic vibe to it, like an endless dream. I figure that it fits a Goddess rather well, since she lives for centuries upon centuries, glancing from above and watching as the world changes... Not that shes remorseful of living or anything, but I would think that even a Goddess could sometimes wish for death.
I searched far and wide for a perfect picture, which I sadly havent found. I wanted to have a Kanako picture similar to the one that I picked here, but with her sitting and a gorgeous scenery. Instead, however, I went and took this one. Even though it isnt what I first had in mind, Id say that it fits very well what I wished to show.
With that being said, I certainly do hope that you folks will enjoy this Knights of Round goodness.

A hot day of Summer, with a somewhat fresh air bruising on the faces of the residents who were out to play outside. Such weather was perfect for fishing, and these girls took the occasion to do just that.
Talk about an amazingly tiring month while doing absolutely nothing in the purest form of the sense. See, Ive actually sprained my left ankle pretty badly near the beginning of the month, and since I cant even climb four stairs or walk without having the balance of a drunken old man, Im stuck at home. Its been like that for a few weeks now, and its starting to feel a bit boring. Sure, the bright side comes with the advantage that I can finally sleep properly, but not being able to see my teacher and good friends is making me feel a tad bit lonely. Oh well, at least homework exists, so Im not exactly wasting time doing nothing productive (then again, Im not exactly doing as much work as I should either).
That matter aside, Ive actually encountered yet another problem regarding C89 content. Seems like a lot of the albums werent actually from the newest Comiket for some reason, which confuses me considering that they were listed in Dojin.cos Ranking system. That misunderstanding kind of just left me in the wind, really. For example, I had Take&Tale in mind to upload soon, but it happens that it wasnt from C89 after all. Its not like Ill just forget about these simply because they arent from the event, but that situation limited the content that I was planning to share here for the occasion, which is a shame.
I guess that in the end, Ill probably just go back to my usual schedule instead of trying too hard to participate in the event. That felt a bit like a letdown at first, but Im getting tired to scratch my head because of such ridiculous issues. Besides, its not like me to limit myself so strictly for such matters to begin with, so Ill bring back the format that I feel the most comfortable with.
Anyway. Im glad to see another CarrotWine album being released. Ive always loved this circle, so its nice to see that theyre still present in the community. A nice mix of Orchestral, Traditional and other varied genres made this album quite enjoyable all around.
I was thinking of uploading the Nuclear Fusion track at first, because of how absolutely epic and amazing it is, but I refrained myself from doing so since I got a feeling that a certain someone will get their hands on it in due time. Instead, I went with the more mellow track from the album, which fits my channel pretty well, I daresay. Its not breathtaking in any way, but the overall feeling of fresh air really sold me. Its simply so mellow and soothing, which reminds me of Summer. Finding this picture only added to the fuel, and I knew that itd make a good upload.
I hope that you will all enjoy as usual, and take care ladies and misters. You can perhaps expect some more productivity, or maybe not. We shall see.
