This is one of the easier stms to get, or so I've heard, but getting stm on a 1 minute long challenging lagoon map isn't something I ever expected to do, so I'm pretty happy. Couple of awkward sections, that garbage at 0:46 was sloppy as hell, but it is what it is.
I did this with a gamecube controller because uplay won't let me use my controller of choice anymore (which is the switch pro controller if you're curious, it's just what I have lying around). I've used my gamecube controller to play melee for like 3 years, so the thumbstick is loose af and doing precise movement with it is stupid. Fortunately, this map doesn't require much of that, but there are a lot of others that do, and I don't play turbo a lot anymore because of this. I can do it, but it's more of a struggle and not as fun.
My old pb was also stm (like 1:04.18 or something), which is what I was gonna upload, but the game didn't let me save the replay, because sometimes this game just does that to me. It's like this game doesn't want me to play it. But I'm no quitter, so I had to sit here for like 30 mins to get another solid run to showcase. ffs
I was listening to werster's all gold symbols pokemon emerald speedrun in the background, so that's what any talking or background noise you hear is.
