Astral Aurora Extra - FACTOR REDACTOR Jetdarc 2024-03-01 | Astral Aurora is my conceptual Video Game that i've written a soundtrack and story for. Chartreuse originally occupied this spot, but due to an overwhelming force beyond the commanders themselves, things were somehow rewritten, and Mu became the fifth commander. Chartreuse is the only one who still remembers everything, and he theorizes with Mu about it now and then as a pastime. Mu Phantazein was originally a being that could add and change the properties and relationships of existing things. The sheer amount of things he could do with this ability is absurd, but generally speaking, it's similar to property editors in game studios and media editing tools. He can even rewrite the functions of other beings and things as if he were coding them himself. Mu can't create things like the other commanders can (even including Apnea), as he can only create basic shapes and concepts. He uses his intellect to work wonders under such limits, and he's even managed to create his sectors this way. Regardless of his limitations, his usefulness to the Astral Plane is to be respected, as traces of his work are nigh-omnipresent. To Break a Man | Amen Break Only Jetdarc 2024-01-19 | This is the completed version. I hit a wall while trying to tune some of the notes correctly, so I couldn't go crazy with melodies and chords like I wanted to, but in the end, things turned out quite alright. I also learned that I can make basses and growls with a single sample although it's probably common knowledge to those of you who are super into sound design. I don't know how to explain it, but it makes me think of using a wavetable.When Virtual Riot made the absolute masterpiece that is Death by Amen, he started this movement to make music using only an amen break, typically ONLY with notes on the piano roll. I decided to see if I could hop on in Audiotool, but I decided to just use the sample itself plus some effects. Check out the full thing here: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEUv_o4cuTQ3zKD9V6rgVYLoSqYwQSvJK-Ironically, Arama showed up as the fourth commander of the Astral Plane, a fact that bothers the hell out of him which led to the other commanders teasing him about it all the time as payback for his tomfoolery. Arama isn't like the other commanders. He doesn't have a hyperdyme form but is equivalent to them in his own original state, which would have all three of his eyes open simultaneously, deeming him as Arama the Third. Arama the Third is a being with transcendent levels of control over the mind and psyche, more so than the other commanders. Comparing him to an esper or a psychic would be like comparing a grain of sand to an entire multiverse -- it could never even come remotely close to explaining his full capability. Despite how complex this sounds, Arama the Third's personality is simply a combination of the first's and second's -- Occasionally mischievous and very cunning, but overall, the most calm he'll ever be. He is the only commander who still retains some of his emotions and personality quirks in his original form. Both Del Aura and Del Astra have complete control over the concept of creation but unlike Del Astra, creation is Del Aura's sole ability. As a result, she surpasses Del Astra's creation abilities by a vast margin. Del Aura truly can create ANYTHING she desires (only while in hyperdyme form), but she usually takes a focused and more artistic approach to creation above other methods, which can be limiting if she gets stuck in her usual routines. Even still, when she gets going, she can produce unpredictable results. What made Del Astra's power unique is that alongside being able to create anything imaginable, she could use the power of any other astral being, including the other commanders. She's phenomenal at using many abilities, but such a large toolset comes at the cost of instability, even with the unreal mind of a hyperdimensional astral being. Since these aren't included in the main soundtrack, they will be regarded as extras. These might appear in the second version of the full soundtrack video.-----These trials consist of absolutely ZERO hand-holding. A battle with a commander in their full-power Hyperdyme state is nigh impossible to win, let alone several consecutive bouts! Aside from the final battle with Hyperdyme Apnea, this is like nothing that's come before, and these battles are not just simple boss fights like in the Overseer Trials. They are ALL final bosses. You will need to merge with Odera again to even stand a chance.-Every commander has 3 forms. Suppressed, Dream, and Hyperdyme, and Arama's equivalent would be The First, The Second, and The Third. Hyperdyme, as well as Arama opening his Third Eye, are the commanders' original full power forms. In these forms, they return to their roots as Hyperdimensional Astral beings with levels of power that make their previous forms seem completely irrelevant. They chose to limit themselves an eternity ago for the sake of experiencing a completely new perspective of existence, one they prefer more. As a result, it's become nearly impossible for them to revert back to Hyperdyme form without causing unreal collateral damage, which they'd want to avoid. This is also why they didn't switch to this form when the young gods invaded the astral plane; it was far too risky for the current threat and would do more harm than good. Jetdarc - Jaws of Steel (Vs Vodnyk | Undertale Fan Music) Jetdarc 2022-10-29 | This is probably my ultimate tribute to Toby Fox and Undertale. All of Vodnyk's Sprites and animation were done by me, and while there is DEFINITELY still plenty of room for improvement, I've made the current sprite to the best of my abilities, although the resolution of the sprite is different when I compare it to the others. Alas, I am not as skilled as Temmie; my art skills are very lacking compared to my musical skills because I've prioritized music all my life, But I've always wanted to become great at both!!As for the music, Jaws of Steel was VERY heavily inspired by Spear of Justice and Bergentrückung/ASGORE. As a matter of fact, Vodnyk himself is inspired by both Undyne and Asgore. I used the same general soundfonts that Toby Fox used for Undertale, and I really wanted to try and match his style while adding a bit of my own flair to things.
