Was messing around with slashing while the gale moves to reposition slightly forward, then remembered you can roll without breaking the gale target.
Marginally faster because of being able to aim earlier and the boomerang having less distance to travel?
Dig up the rupee, run to the patch of grass and transform, do the gale targets however is normal for you, and roll once before drawing sword to LJA.
Where you end up from the roll is obviously dependent on your final gale target (or rather, the final direction you aim before throwing the gale) since that's the direction the roll will go. It works decently well I guess?
