Using a Bomb it is possible to boost up onto the chandelier without having to pull the chain or push the box completely.
Theorised by Draconif/Habreno, confirmed by pokemongenius
Saves approximately 7s for Wii any%, and ~12s for Glitchless because you don't need to push the block at all.
- Stand on the very edge of the raised lip as shown in the video
- Aim slightly right, towards the left part of the chandelier platform
- Pull a bomb
- After seeing the sixth bomb flash, hold forward to jump
- Almost immediately after, shake the Wii remote (or press/mash B on gamecube) to draw your sword and jumpslash (I recommend holding target after jumping so that you only need one input to draw your sword and jumpslash together)
In the video I pull the bomb quite early but that was just to save the time of getting into position before pulling the bomb.
The timing for this is very tight, and loses a decent amount to fail (depending on if you fall into the quicksand vortex or are able to transform wolf in time and get out of the sand), so I personally wouldn't recommend attempting it in runs.
Unfortunately it isn't currently thought possible to bomb boost onto the chandelier from the side you traditionally do poe skip from, which would save a lot more time than this as you wouldn't have to transform wolf and run across the sand (but you'd have to push the block when returning, like Gamecube does).
It's also possible to bomb boost using the Jumpstrike hidden skill: youtube.com/watch?v=_Ls5KwUbX_Y

![TP: Aeralfos Skip with Pointer Aiming [Wii]
The motion controls pointer aiming on Wii makes this quite difficult to do, but the setups to get in position work just the same.
Saves ~50 seconds over doing the fight normally.
I find it helpful to go into first person to aim up a bit before taking out the clawshot to make the camera nicer, and so I dont have to move the camera by aiming the clawshot high up then coming back down.
Some clips of this being done in runs:
Habreno (Previous 100% PB): https://youtu.be/chCAidbmVyE?t=20827
Me (Any% runs): https://youtu.be/cr8V151rJwc?t=10130, https://youtu.be/7w0Z-A5Mk5A?t=9886
It is of course possible to turn the pointer aiming off, which would in theory make this more consistent. More on that here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpDE_zhxlP0

If low on health, two steps and a backhop is perfect spacing for a clockwise [GCN] spin attack to blow up the bomb without taking any damage.

![TP: Lakebed Temple Pot Push Early Deku Toad [Wii]
Discovered by pokemongenius
Using four or more pots in the gale boomerang, its possible to jump and be pushed far enough by the pots to reach the hanging platform without an LJA. This allows for early Deku Toad on the Wii version without needing bombs, which both saves a lot of time in isolation, and allows for more routing options.
These clips are from the day this was discovered. The trick will surely be improved over time as its very significant for the Wii version, however currently its very difficult/luck based.
- Collect 4-5 pots with the gale as shown
- Line them up on the ground, and throw the boomerang such that it picks them up while returning
- As it picks up the pots, jump towards the platform and try to get pushed by the pots. Jumpslash late into the jump
Jumping out a little from the platform can help with being pushed, though the direction the gale is returning from is also important. Dont jumpslash too early, as if the boomerang catches up with you itll stop and you wont be pushed anymore. Jumpslashing stalls you and allows the gale to catch up quicker.
The second jump is possible with anywhere from four to one pots (or rupees/hearts) weighing it down. Theres no guarantee any pots will land on the platform, so preserving one to grab after the first jump is safest. Spin attacking the chain for an extra swing, in conjunction with the tilt from the pot, is a very consistent method.
Its also possible to swing the platform enough using just the boomerang, but its not consistent as of now.
