Luke Martinez, 27, an aspiring travel content creator, has been exposing some of the most common scams tourists may encounter on their trips abroad. Luke said: "I've been travelling for years and I see scams all the time. My usual reaction is to ignore them or politely say no, but I wondered what would happen if I chose to respond and engage with these people. "To find new scams I just spend the day near tourist sites, but sit back on a bench and try to spot people who are loitering and talking to a lot of tourists. "Once I've spotted one, It's quite easy to get these people to try to scam you, all you need to do is start pretending to take selfies near them."
