This is a piano transcription of "Flames Within These Black Feathers", which is an arrangement by the circle Foreground Eclipse of the theme "Solar Sect of Mystic Wisdom ~ Nuclear Fusion" from Touhou 11: Subterranean Animism, originally composed by ZUN.

This was my first piano transcription commission, finished several months ago and adjusted slightly for this video! This transcription was commissioned by username "skydash", for their Touhou derivative fangame called Touhou Multi Scroll Shooting 2. Because it was intended to be used for game development, I had to diverge from my usual style of transcribing to maximize accuracy over the listeners' experience, so some parts sound discordant as a result. I attempted to mitigate some of this dissonance for this video.
Touhou Multi Scroll Shooting 2 is a Touhou fangame that features your usual shmup experience, but the 2.5-D playfield seamlessly shifts between top-down, side-scrolling, and from-behind shooting perspectives. The game is currently in development, but the demo gameplay looks great so far!
I will advise, though, that the featured characters do show a bit more skin than I'm personally accustomed to, but if you can tolerate that, I highly suggest you check out the game. The devs would greatly appreciate it! (And you can hear what became of my transcription for the game, too!)
