The demo for Fantastic Danmaku Festival Part III came out the other day, so I decided to give it a whirl! I really like it so far! The music's great, the stages are all really solid, and I especially love how varied the enemy and stage designs are in this game! The boss bullet patterns are also all really well designed. Stage 2 in general is probably my favorite of the stages so far, and I'm already considering doing a PC-98 remix of "Nightmare Reborn". I guess the only issue I have so far is that the game felt a bit too easy at this point. However, I *was* playing on Normal as opposed to Hard or Lunatic so I suspect that'll change if and when I tackle the harder difficulties. Can't wait for the full release!

Happy 20th anniversary to MOTHER 3! While I dont have the same affection for this game as some people do, I still really loved playing it back in 2021! I knew the moment this was coming up that I had to do something special for the occasion! Of course I had to arrange Sixteen Melodies and Memory of Life, but I ultimately decided to arrange them for the SNES this time around. I wanted to make this using only Earthbound samples, but I had to cheat and use a Chrono Trigger sample for the vibraphone since the one Earthbound had didnt sound right. I really hope this turned out alright, since theres not gonna be another big anniversary like this for another 5 years...
By the way, I will be taking the rest of the week off since this week was pretty packed. Ill see you all back here on Monday!

The trial for Touhou 20 has launched, and once again I find myself doing a Day 0 cover! I was at least able to get this done before work this time, though unfortunately I wasnt able to upload it until afterwards. I settled on this track because I liked that opening arpeggio, though admittedly this was partly because I wanted something potentially quick to work on. I hope it turned out alright!

This song got stuck in my head a while back after playing through Sonic Adventure, and its gone on to become probably my favorite song in the Sonic series. As such, I wanted to get around to remixing this song at some point, so I figured Id do it now. I really hope you enjoyed this as much as I did working on it!
