Yay for 'Forbidden Arcanum - "Hourai Elixir"'
Playing unfocused most of the time attempting to farm time points. In the end I failed to unlock Final Spark in this run haha.

Team Monstars said this years ago.
We should recognize the potential in the Ballers and liberate them from the courts.
However, I disagree!

![Final Fantasy VII - Ruby Weapon [Initial Equipment, no Knights of the Round]
Initial equipment only and no accessories (no ribbons for status effect protection). No Knights of the Round (KotR). No stat sources were used. No lucky 7s (7777). No Caith Sith Game Over (face/face/face slots) limit break. No cheats or save file edits. Steam PC 2013 version (v1.0.9 English.)
The most boring 2 hours of my life.
Hades MVP.
This strategy boils down to using Hades (or Dazers) with only one party member alive and then reviving your other party member(s) while Ruby Weapon is paralyzed. Then, someone with [Bahamut Zero + MP Turbo], [Bahamut Zero + Quadra Magic], Hades (not linked to Quadra Magic!) and W-Summon should summon 4x Bahamut Zero followed by 1x Hades. All other party members should have Mime equipped and spam Mime until the end of the battle as soon as their ATB gauges fill up.
After you initially paralyze Ruby Weapon (and revive your party member(s)), Ruby Weapons paralysis will wear off riiiight before you cast Hades in your first 4x Bahamut Zero + 1x Hades combo assuming you arent wasting ATB gauge time. After this, when you start spamming Mime, Rubys paralysis will wear off riiiiiight before every *other* Hades cast. If you keep this up, Ruby Weapon will *never* get a turn, as shown in this video.
There are many different strategies out there, but this one seems to be the safest of them all without the Knights of the Round. Its so safe, you can just set your cursor settings to memory and leave your keys/buttons pressed for two hours. Ruby Weapon will be dead by the time you come back LMAO. This strategy is also perfect for initial equipment runs because it doesnt require many (linked) materia slots. Theres also no need for accessories/ribbons.
01:10 The fight starts. Ruby exposes her tentacles.
01:36 Vincent summons Mr. Skeltal. Ruby is paralyzed.
02:20 Everybody get up, its time to slam now!
02:47 Cid summons 4x Bahamut Zero and 1x Hades. The others follow suit and spam Mime until the end of the battle. Ruby Weapon never gets another turn.
02:07:12 Ruby Weapon dies.
02:08:00 Trading my Desert Rose for Dongs. Literally.
A few possible optimizations:
Since Rubys paralysis gets renewed every *other* turn, you only need two characters. Cloud dealt the least damage among my party members, so I could have probably saved a few minutes by not having him in my party.
Since Ruby Weapon never got a turn (not counting the turn she used to reveal her tentacles), theres no need to use Final Attack Phoenix or Counter. To make the battle shorter, those materia can be replaced with something more useful, like Magic Plus.
