I (finally) found out there is actually a way to simulate spell practice in EoSD and a few other games, which is SpoilerAL. It lets you do several things but one of them is skip to specific spells, so you don't have to play the entire stage to practice them. :D If you're wondering why the background is different from what you normally see at Scarlet Gensokyo: the skip is why.
Two final spells left to capture, the ones in PCB and in LoLK. And luckily both games allow spell practice simulation using something external (assuming the LoLK one actually works). I hope to do them as well so I'll have captured all Windows Touhou final spells. c:
I couldn't get SpoilerAL to work with my (patch) EoSD, so I had to use the actual original EoSD, which felt really weird for me.. xD Maybe it's a good idea to try to get used to it once.
