Hello everyone!

I’ve transcribed the theme from stage 3.

That sense of adventure and melancholy is so beautiful. Without a doubt, this was one of the best tracks from the demo when it first came out. Those two contrasting sides of the piece really make it unique, since it works as a kind of transition. It’s a pretty clever and noteworthy idea.

As for the transcription… it was quite the journey.
Some instruments were tricky to figure out, like the piano chords, the bass, the clean background guitar, and the drums. Strangely enough, it didn’t take me that long, since I was unusually motivated, haha. In fact, the final mix might not be that great because I finished it relatively quickly and only adjusted it so it would sound decent. Getting the mix to resemble the original is pretty tough ~

If you’re wondering about the ridiculously long instrument list, it’s because, since it’s hard to know exactly which synth was used in the original track—I had to improvise with "Kinetic Metal" and started experimenting by layering different presets… it was fun, but I think I went a little overboard and added too much （・_・;）
The same thing happened with an atmospheric instrument in the background, I ended up layering some presets from "Materials Metal & Ice" and "TG3".

Now all that’s left is the third boss theme to wrap up the demo tracks. I have to admit, I’m pretty excited. Bit by bit, I’m getting closer to stage 4 :)
