That stage itself is tough, not unbearably so, but tougher than your usual Extra Stage I'd say. More often than not you're going to be dealing with a lot of bullets from all over, but without a good way to really make your life easier. Generally a lot of attacks both cover the whole field, and can't really be mitigated by killing choice enemies quick, or being in the right position, etc. To a degree, this stage felt like a case of “git gud” as opposed to really finding a “route” through the stage.
Yuiman returns as a mid-boss, and she's honestly not too bad once you get used to her. Her first spell card in honerstly the toughest one, since it can be mitigated a bit, but at the end of the day you're still dealing with a slew of bullets from all directions. Her second spell card is more time consuming than difficult and has some minor issues, and the third may take a lot of practice, but is very doable once you understand the logic.
Nina is an odd one with a difficulty curve that goes all over the place. She definitely doesn't start easy and steadily get more difficult, and in fact I'd argue her non-spells are generally the hardest thing she puts out (though that may just be me because crisscrossing bullets are my weakness). Her spell cards generally have solid logic to them, and when you understand the pattern, they're significantly easier. Only ones to really watch out for I felt are Truth "Chemtrail Cloud" (because that one has some logic, but is more random than anything), and Truth "Reptilian Intelligence" I personally found to be the hardest attack in her set. There's no randomness, and you can spend all the time in the word in spell practice to figure out a good route, but even with that, I'd argue if you can make it past that spell, you're damn near home free.
