Shot by Ash Ahuja, a very kind fellow Californian eclipse-chasing road tripper I ran into by chance next to a baseball field in Arkansas on April 8th 2024 where we experienced four minutes and sixteen seconds of totality starting at 1:50pm in the afternoon. Ash had the brilliant idea of pointing his phone at our environment instead of the sun to record how dim everything got (on manual settings to keep it from adjusting to the dark); I'm in the maroon shirt w/ black & white scarf, and you can see the lights behind Casey's convenience store automatically switch on as the moon's shadow passes over us. 🌑☀️
This was my second 100% totality after Nashville in 2017, and I know I'll be chasing more for the rest of my life. Photos and videos never do the experience justice! 🤩
