4/11/10 - "Méditation," the entr'acte from the opera "Thaïs," by Jules Massenet.
I've wanted to record this one for a while; it's definitely one of my favorite pieces to play on the violin. It particularly holds a lot of emotional significance to me as it was the last piece I performed for my late grandfather.
I've taken some liberty with its tempo and dynamics as I haven't actually looked at the sheet music in years. :P
