A first look at my new toroid plasma generator driving a 20 centimetre xenon globe. This demo shows the field geometry, the plasma behaviour at different power levels, and the shifting arcs as the xenon responds to the toroidal excitation. Filmed close-up so you can see the internal structures form and collapse in real time.
