I received two so-called urushi Wingsung 630s from 365Days Stationery, part of a five-pen first attempt. What arrived shows fundamental design and finishing errors: lacquer applied over functional threads, caps that require force to engage, and packaging wholly unsuitable for a fragile, premium product. This video documents the issues factually, with close-ups and direct correspondence, and explains why these pens will deteriorate quickly in normal use.
UPDATE: After this was raised privately, the seller acknowledged the issues and resolved the situation with me directly. I am satisfied that the response was responsible and made in good faith. Actually, he resolved it far too generously!
I am leaving the original critique intact because the technical issues shown here are real and worth understanding. At the same time, it matters to say that the matter itself has been properly addressed.
