On June 17th 2026 an intense EF3 tornado struck portions of Effingham Illinois during a regional tornado outbreak destroying several buildings on the outskirts of town. This is the story of my chase of this incredible event along with my intercepts of the powerful tornadoes that struck near Unionville Missouri one week earlier.
