Tormented Souls 2 brings back everything we love about classic survival horror — fixed camera angles, limited saves, tough puzzles, and pure atmosphere. In this review, I share my full experience exploring Villa Hess, fighting terrifying monsters, and solving twisted puzzles as Caroline Walker returns for another nightmare.

If you miss the feeling of old-school horror like Resident Evil or Silent Hill, this one’s for you. Dual Effect has doubled down on tension, exploration, and mystery and Tormented Souls 2 might just be the best throwback horror of 2025.
