The Tormach 8L lathe has been an essential tool for Tormach customers for several years. Now we are adding automation to it with the introduction of the Tormach 8L Automatic Collet Closer.
This install video goes over the procedure to install the Automatic Collet Closer and the proper setup. You will also be directed to update your PathPilot install to version 2.14.3 to get the features to use the collet closer. This automatic collet closer has M10 and M11 codes, that can also be added to your g-code.
