Kristen Hohl, PT, DPT, NCS from the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab builds upon the framework introduced in Episode 3 and uses case examples of patients with diagnoses of Spinal Cord Injury and Stroke from her experience as a physical therapist. Kristen illustrates how exoskeletons and exo-suits can be used to augment rehabilitation and gait therapy by helping to improve walking quality, increase the intensity and dosage of therapy, and reduce patient impairment.
