What Are Bottle Caps in Pokémon GO?
Bottle Caps are used for Hyper Training, allowing you to maximize your Pokémon’s IV stats even if they’re not naturally perfect.
• Silver Bottle Caps max out one individual stat (Attack, Defense, or HP).
• Gold Bottle Caps max out all three stats at once, essentially making any Pokémon a “Shundo” in battle performance.
It’s important to note that Hyper Training does not affect the IV display for trading or appraisal purposes, but it does improve performance in PvE and PvP.
