Welcome to my BRUTAL SHMUPS series, this time with the Top 5 Hardest Shoot Em Ups - Neo Geo edition. Every episode I cover a new console focusing on the hardest, most brutal Top 5 Shooters on the system. The Neo Geo was known more for it's SNK Fighting games and Metal Slug than it was for shmups, but that doesn't mean it didn't have some real Arcade bangers in there with gorgeous graphics and killer music. You may notice that every game chosen is a hotizontal scrolling shoot em up which is unusual to say the least. The Neo Geo had an abundance of them vs your more common vertical scrolling shmups.
