The JRPG genre has been evolving for around 40 years now. It has seen its share of ups and downs, but right now, it's arguably in the best place that it has ever been. Since the early 80s, we’ve seen the releases of 1000s of JRPGs, or JRPG style titles, from hundreds of different developers, but it goes without saying that not all of them are created equally.

This video is going to look at the very best, or at least, my very best. This is my personal top 100 JRPGs, of all time.
