đ¨đ The Ultimate Road Trip: Top 10 Pass Roads in Switzerland đâ¨
Take a breathtaking ride through the Swiss Alps as we explore the 10 most stunning and unforgettable mountain pass roads Switzerland has to offer. From legendary serpent roads to dramatic glaciers, this is not just a top 10 â itâs a journey.
We kick things off with the iconic Gotthardpass, including the historic Tremola road and the infamous Devilâs Bridge, before venturing toward lesser-known but equally epic routes like the Nufenenpass, the highest paved pass in Switzerland, where cloud inversions and alpine wildlife await.
We take you across snow-covered landscapes on the Julierpass, one of the rare roads open year-round, and wind past sparkling lakes and hydro dams on the majestic Grimselpass. Autumn gold and UNESCO heritage charm light up the Albulapass, while the Berninapass offers glacier views and secret hikes to the bluest lakes in Switzerland.
If youâre into curves, drama, and raw alpine beauty, the SplĂźgenpass â connecting Switzerland and Italy â delivers one of the most thrilling drives of your life. Then comes the Sustenpass, where waterfalls and tunnels awaits below. Of course, no list is complete without the Furkapass, famous for its James Bond cameo and otherworldly ice cave, a stark reminder of our changing climate.
But the crown jewel? That goes to the Klausenpass. From hidden waterfalls to lush alpine meadows and rugged switchbacks, itâs a wild ride through the heart of Swiss legend and landscape.
Whether youâre dreaming of your next road trip, planning a journey, or just love epic scenery, this video will take you on a ride through Switzerlandâs most beautiful, challenging, and awe-inspiring alpine roads.

![AUGUST in SWITZERLAND [Summer Travel Guide]
August is one of the Summer months, the weather in Switzerland is going to be warm during that time. In general, August is a great month to travel but there are some things that are important to be kept in mind. August is during peak travel season, and because of that, traveling will be rather expensive during this month. There will be a lot of tourists coming from everywhere around the world to visit Switzerland, the hotspots will certainly be very crowded. Pretty much all of Europe is on Summer holidays, which is why everybody is traveling. The weather in Switzerland during August will be mostly sunny and the temperatures in general above 25°C. Although there is a lot of sun, the weather will be not always nice, it may rain and there might even be floods. Since everything will be open during August, there are certainly enough attractions to be visited, either outdoors or indoors. Since August is a Summer month, the landscape will be lush green, however at times if there have been droughts, the grass may turn yellow and some of the trees may already start to loose their leaves. Nevertheless, despite that, August is a warm and great month for swimming, especially out in the nature. Some of the most beautiful swimming places with clear water would be in the Swiss Alps. Although looking like a paradise, the clear water may be cold with temperatures of only 11-15°C. Overall a very sunny month with long daylight hours, August is perfect to go for hiking up in the Swiss Alps. There will be only little snow and pretty much all of the trails are open. There are also many waterfalls to be visited that may be still quite powerful. August in Switzerland might be expensive and crowded and at times hot, but overall itâs really great to travel around during this season!

![SAAS-FEE during WINTER: Swiss Glacier Village, Ski Resort, Switzerland [Full Travel Guide]
Saas-Fee, the village of the glaciers, where WHAMâs LAST CHRISTMAS was filmed! Saas-Fee / Saastal is a very exciting tourist destination, in particular during Winter. The village is car-free, thus you will be experiencing great holiday vibes up there. Saas-Fee is surrounded by the tall Alps, the Allalinhorn is the iconic peak of the village. Saas-Fee has everything it needs to be a perfect winter wonderland village, just like Zermatt. There may be no Matterhorn in Saas-Fee but the village has many glaciers. This made Saas-Fee to one of the most snow sure destinations of Switzerland and is the reason, why you could come here for Summer skiing. The upper part of the slopes are on the glaciers itself, in Saas-Fee but also in Saas-Grund (the sunnier side of the ski resort). Do not forget to take the cable car and the Metro Alpin up to the Mittelallalin. The journey is surely going to be unforgettable: You will be taking the worlds highest located underground funicular, up on the Mittelallalin you may eat at the worlds highest altitude revolving restaurant and you may visit the ice pavilion, the largest manmade glacier cave. The glacier cave is full of wonderful scupltures and it one of the very highlights of Saas-Fee!
Besides a fantastic ski resort, Saas-Fee hosts many great hotels. One of them is the Hotel The Capra, a brilliant 5 Star Hotel (paid content). The hotel has a wonderful spa with even a private section. A highlight is the outdoor jacuzzi/whirlpool. The hospitality of the Capra hotel is really of high Swiss standard: Very genuinely friendly personnel, professional barkeepers, a master of a Sommelier and the hotel also offers shuttle services to the ski room near the teleferic. Although the hotel is not cheap, it is very worth the price!
This is my Full Winter Travel Guide for Saas-Fee / Saastal!

![NOVEMBER in SWITZERLAND â This YOU need to know! Still worth to Travel? [Full Travel Guide]
Some people often say that NOVEMBER is the WORST TIME to travel. But is that really true??? What does November have to offer and what are its down sides? These aspects will be covered in this video. November is a very interesting month, just because everybody does not think so! November is very colorful during the beginning. There will be many colors of Autumn, all the leaves are golden, orange, yellow and red! November is also quite foggy, meaning the weather is not always best and at times it will rain. But during November, you may also have snow fall and enjoy early Christmas vibes. Very nice is the combination of the Autumn colors with snow. November is not good for hiking but still you should visit the Swiss Alps. Go up to some peaks and enjoy the sea of clouds. Up on the peaks, the view is brilliant, while down in the valley, there will be cloudy weather. November in Switzerland is also a month of culture. You may visit the Lantern Festival in Early November called Räbäliechtli, visit the Herbstmesse in Basel and some markets like Martinimarkt in Schaffhausen or Zibälämärit in Bern. In late November, some Christmas markets will already open up! Great chance to experience early Christmas vibes here in Switzerland. Benefit also from season break, its low season here in Switzerland. Many hotels will offer cheaper prices and you may travel around Switzerland on a budget. HOWEVER: This comes at a cost: Many hotels and restaurants will be closed! Book early to be sure to have a place to dine and stay. Some attractions will be closed too. On the other hand: You may benefit from some ski resorts already starting their Winter season! Surely, November is a very interesting Month! MUCH BETTER than many people think!
