It’s that time of year again - the top 10 of the year.
I’ll start off with some ground rules. Firstly, this is very much MY list. I tend to prefer shorter, simpler experiences, and I’m not big on high fantasy and sci-fi epics - so the games on this list might be a bit lighter than you’ll see on other channels.
Secondly, I’m very lenient with release dates for my end of year lists. I’ll allow games onto the list if they were published in 2021 or 2022, in recognition that they arrive in different regions at different times, and it often takes me some time to get round to playing a game after release. I’m not strict at all about limiting the list to new releases. I’d rather present to you an honest list of 10 newish games that I had the most fun with in 2022.
