In the game of Yugioh, main deck monsters have a level that ranges from 1 to 12, with level 5 to 6 requiring one tribute to normal summon and levels 7 and up requiring two tributes. The level 7 throughout yugioh’s history has been in a bit of an awkward spot, with many of the boss monsters being a level 8 or higher. While level 7 would eventually have its time to shine with the Dragon Ruler and Kashtira archetypes, during the classic yugioh era, the pickings were slim. This list will be of the best level 7 monsters from the beginning of the game, until the release of the first synchro monsters in 2008’s Starter Deck: Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s.
