This is a short sequence from my Deck Chair video. Sometimes, there are interesting techniques or sequences that I end up cutting from the main video for pacing. Shorts, might be a good place for some of these!

In the past, I have used chemical blackening with mixed results. This technique uses boiled linseed oil and is actually a very old way of blackening steel that works a lot like seasoning a cast iron pan.
