AFTRS alumnus and director Tony Krawitz (Into the Night, Jewboy, The Tall Man) returned to AFTRS to present Australia's first feature-length motion picture without pictures, Touch, a film delivering an inclusive cinematic experience through sound.
After the screening and Q&A with the audience, Tony shared his thoughts on making films and pursuing a creative career in the screen industry.
Touch was produced in collaboration with AFTRS partners Bus Stop Films, supporting the production with a series of focus groups to inform and direct the outcome of the film and also supporting blind and low-vision crew members in roles such as project consultants and director's attachments, ensuring all roles were steered by the crew members passion and skills.
