This is an improvisational piano cover of the traditional Swedish Christmas Carol, "Tomtarnas Julnatt".
First off, I made a bit of a blasphemous edit in the MIDI file of this piece. I'm super busy now that it's Xmas times, but I still wanted to upload something for Christmas this year!
I haven't played this piece much at all, and all of these variations are improvised to greater or lesser degrees. So I ended up making two very major mistakes, which I blatantly fixed is post (I went ahead and fixed a few minor ones too while I was at it). So the video may look especially jarring at 1:47, for those who know how the piano works. But trust me when I say it would've sounded even more grating, had I not edited the notes in the piano roll (I used the VST "The Grandeur", for the sound).
Now that the technical info is out of the way, I want to take this time to wish you all Happy Holidays, no matter how you celebrate them, or don't!
I will hopefully return with one more video, before the year ends. Either way, I hope you're all having a wonderful time ^ ^
