Tomboy Crab is a small dessert apple with some crab apple genetics. It is very sweet, but with good sugar acid balance and no crabbiness. It has shown a very slight savory flavor from its parent Wickson. Tomboy Crab can have a little bit of pink flesh, which may be stronger or weaker depending on climate and growing conditions. There are only a handful of really good dessert crabs out there and I think Tomboy crab can swim in the deep end of the pool with most or all of them. I'm pretty sure that if people grow these, they will want to eat them. Should be popular with kids too.
