This is a fan made Sega Saturn port of the expansion to the original Tomb Raider. Its running in the Saturn's original Tomb Raider engine and works really great. Its absolutely brilliant, and its literally a whole new Sega Saturn game in 2023. I never played this when it came out, so this is all new to me.

Running on real Hardware. The Game is burned to a blank disc and running on my 60Hz modded PAL Saturn using a Pseudo Saturn Cart. Output via an RGB Scart cable, line doubled in an OSSC and recorded with a USB Capture device. This is the NTSCU version.

Gameplay
Its the actual expansion released for Tomb Raider on PC back in the day, so that's all you really need to know. The level design is great, and its more Tomb Raider fun, now enjoyable in its entirety on Sega Saturn. Great Puzzles, great level design, secret areas to find and it all controls exactly like the original Tomb Raider on the Saturn. I'm definitely going to do a playthrough of this one, a nice accompaniment to my playthrough of the original Tomb Raider.
Graphics
Very similar to the original Tomb Raider on Saturn. Some of the areas and textures are larger and more intricate than the base game, so overall it looks nicer. Like the base game, the frame rate can struggle in some of the larger areas, but given the grand scale of these levels, its very impressive and overall the framerate is good. Its very impressive what the devs have done. The expansion was made for PC only, and therefore did not have console limitations in mind. Very good, and up there with the best that actual top tier developers put out for the Saturn back in the day.
Sound
Its more Tomb Raider, everything lifted from the PC expansion. Great music, great sound effects and really builds the atmosphere of the game.
Overall
Its more Tomb Raider on the Sega Saturn. If you like Tomb Raider, you will like this.
