The theme of this video was to see if I could grow tomatoes, not from seeds I'd bought myself, and end up with a free harvest of tomatoes come August and September.
Tomatoes from a friend, shop bought - free
Recycled potting on containers - free
Home made compost from scraps - free
Rain water - free
Indoor utilities already in use - not free but no extra cost as the heat and lights would be on anyhow.
Turns out it wasn't a bad harvest at all.
