I got the moon, I got the cheese. Here's the cheese.
I was going to do something frightfully clever for this video that included multi-media convergences with special graphics, text and puppetry. Then realized I don't have time for that. So here' s some footage of the local public TV station from the early 1990's, back when I co-hosted the pledge breaks during "Doctor Who". For one of our pledge drives, the TV executives actually allowed us to produce a running story about a Dalek invasion of Louisville, KY, that ran over the course of our 2 Saturday pledge nights.
The audio uses the brand-new banjo ukulele from Mainland Ukes!! It's not mine, though. Mike let me borrow it - look for a video review of it coming soon. Nutshell review: It's awesome! I also use my viol-uke for the solos. It sounds very close to a Japanese shamisen for this cover. Drums are a Rubbermaid tub and a children's drum. The rest is my voice.Oh, and a melodica!
