The shadow covers much of what we know and love and makes it almost impossible to see. However there are some additional peculiarities you may not know about.

Interestingly, the shadow on Google Maps, Bing Maps and OpenStreetMap all show different (and sometimes nonsensical) positions, so I've chosen to show the shadow as seen at the time of filming.
