This is part 17 of my quest mode walkthrough on the 2025 version of TXR. This is the 2nd of 4 segments for stage 4. Not too far into stage 4 yet and already our R32 Skyline is struggling quite bad with only 367 PS. So as much as I didn't want to switch cars again already I pretty much have to, so I got a shiny new R34 Skyline. Actually I wanted the R35, but I'm sadly not far enough into the game to unlock the ability to buy it from the perk store to unlock it for sale. So I guess we'll have to try to make the R34 work until then. Still only ended up with 368 PS after upgrading it, and it's heavier than our R32 was. But the R34 should still be faster despite this. Hopefully this one is competitive enough for awhile because I really want the R35 to be the last time I switch cars in this playthrough, with the exception of cars we'll have to buy to meet wanderer requirements later. Speaking of, we raced our first rival added after the game’s release from a DLC this episode, now bumping the total rival count up to 458. Although beating this DLC wanderer isn’t required to race the final boss & beat the entire game. Genki say the DLC will only be available until September 30th, so make sure to get it before then, it’s free also.
