Ive wanted to cover this track for a while, but i always thought it sounded a bit empty...that is, until i found Teckworks MIDI version on VGMusic.com. It has a lot more going on and overall just sounds better. So i figured id translate his work into a FamiTracker project. The accompaniment on the VRC6 is entirely his work: i simply ported it into FamiTracker.

Well, this is unexpected, huh? Not this cover in particular really, but moreso the timing. This took about two hours in total to finish, not only cause the song is so simple, but because i pretty much didnt take any breaks while making it. Im really happy with how it turned out too, so i think its a win-win. If only i could keep to a schedule this consistent for more than a few covers.

That practice from the last video paid off, eh? I was worried i wasnt going to be able to do enough with some of MM2s tracks since a lot of them are quite simple and dont fill out the 8 channels i have to work with. After attempting to write my own harmony for the middle section and failing spectacularly, i turned to the backing track Sword-Bolt came up with in their MIDI and went with that (after doubling up the notes because why not). I think it turned out pretty well though!
If i want to go in alphabetical order, i could do Bubble Man next. Wily Stages 1-2s track could use an update though...
