That practice from the last video paid off, eh? I was worried i wasn't going to be able to do enough with some of MM2's tracks since a lot of them are quite simple and don't fill out the 8 channels i have to work with. After attempting to write my own harmony for the middle section and failing spectacularly, i turned to the backing track Sword-Bolt came up with in their MIDI and went with that (after doubling up the notes because why not). I think it turned out pretty well though!
If i want to go in alphabetical order, i could do Bubble Man next. Wily Stages 1-2's track could use an update though...

So DeltaRune is way better than Undertale, and the soundtrack is just as stellar... despite Toby Foxs unawareness of keys. His songs are usually loaded with unnecessary sharps and flats. Regardless, everyone seems to be covering Rude Buster, so until i have the means to make my own cover of that song, heres one that doesnt seem to get the attention it deserves.

For one reason or another, i was struck with a sudden feeling of motivation to create a new cover, so i went with this song from CVIII. I know a lot of people tend to prefer the NESs 2A03 version over the Famicom VRC6 version, so i attempted to bridge the gap a bit. Obviously that meant i had to keep the famous arpeggiated lead from the 2A03 versions climax. The VRC6 verison fares fine without it, but the arps just give that extra punch that 2A03-only soundtracks need.

So i dont like Mega Man 4. The level design is ok, but the robot masters are annoying and the weapons are mediocre. But at least the soundtrack is pretty good, save for the pretty bad sound design. Regardless, clearly it didnt stop me from covering one of its songs, in this case a HIGHLY underrated Wily Stage theme. This and Mega Man 6s Wily Stage themes need more love.

Look, all memes aside, this is an amazing song. Regardless of how overrated it is to some, i still love it, and i wanted to update my cover of it.
