Christoph just took part in a TMS experiment with active and passive electrodes. It is really painful to get mounted with passive TMS electrodes because each position is cleaned and abraded to lower the impedance enough. It was just hurting for every single electrode that got mounted and did took quite some time. It felt like it takes foreever until I am preped. In contrast the active TMS electrode are mounted without any abrasion and it does not hurt at all. Beside that the procedure is much quicker, speaking of a few seconds.

Speaking of the results: we get the same EPS for active and passive TMS electrodes.
