((my video quality is super shitty now. you can thank yts new hugeass player. i recommend putting it on full 1080p if you can, 720p if not, and zooming out on the page a couple times so its the size of the old player, so its less pixely and gross to view.))
&& so ive been crumpling up pieces of paper and tossing them into an ever-overflowing trash can for far too long now with this round, so i when messica asked me to join an ic with a bunch of awesome people, i decided to sort of join (aka editing with them but editing for longer than they were in order to make it my twerk tourney project.)
i figured that would be a good war to stir up the creative flow, and poof! i finally finished a project, thank god.

/ / flow & lyrics matching focus; they focus a lot on flow & matching the lyrics in many of their videos, so i tried to do the same.
/ / parallels; they use a lot of parallels which is super cool, so i added those in, too!
/ / coloring; i was inspired by one of their colorings, which had kind of a subdued sunset-look to it, with orange/purple.
/ / emotion; a lot of their edits are typically pretty emotional, so i added in all the scenes from tlk that make me the saddest/angriest/most emotional.

so if youve been following my tumblr, basically ive been working on this since this game came out but havent had the motivation to finish it until now OTL ((and i still dont like it?? i dont know why. nothing i do to it makes me like it so i gave up and just decided to upload sobs;;;;))
& basically every song by the ne!ghbourhood fits this game lmao. i was trying to decide between this and a few others when i started playing.
i have a love-hate relationship with the story of watch dogs. on one hand, it explores the grey area of the good vs. evil conflicts and i LOVE that. on the other hand, some of the plot points could be taken as lazy rather than realistic (e.g. clara lille. & e.g. aidens facial expressions are limited and he recognizes the bad in his actions but just doesnt seem to care, which could either show him being a sociopath or just be lazy animation/screenwriting.) but yeah. honestly thought it was a great game, sorta like asscreed and gta put together. but of course anything this hyped up is going to get a lot of hate!
