((my video quality is super shitty now. you can thank yt's new hugeass player. i recommend putting it on full 1080p if you can, 720p if not, and zooming out on the page a couple times so it's the size of the old player, so it's less pixely and gross to view.))
&& so i've been crumpling up pieces of paper and tossing them into an ever-overflowing trash can for far too long now with this round, so i when messica asked me to join an ic with a bunch of awesome people, i decided to sort of join (aka editing with them but editing for longer than they were in order to make it my twerk tourney project.)
i figured that would be a good war to stir up the creative flow, and poof! i finally finished a project, thank god.

/ / flow & lyrics matching focus; they focus a lot on flow & matching the lyrics in many of their videos, so i tried to do the same.
/ / parallels; they use a lot of parallels which is super cool, so i added those in, too!
/ / coloring; i was inspired by one of their colorings, which had kind of a subdued sunset-look to it, with orange/purple.
/ / emotion; a lot of their edits are typically pretty emotional, so i added in all the scenes from tlk that make me the saddest/angriest/most emotional.
