I’ve been following Vidu since their beginning, and have shared numerous videos. While they’ve never “topped the charts” when it comes to AI video generators, it’s always been a favorite of mine because of it’s creative approach to outputs.
Their new phone app is nearly a Sora clone, allowing you to create short videos with sound, like sora, but with no limits on character types. And the content guideline restrictions are way looser.
But in addition to the phone app, they’ve also updated their flagship model, Q2, and in the desktop app, you change up to 10 keyframe images for extended videos with consistency and fantastic prompt adherence.
It’s a longer video than normal, and broken into two parts, phone app and desktop.
