Over the years, Liz has learnt that a veg garden and flower garden don't need to be separate. She now incorporates the flowers and veggies in all her raised beds, bringing joy to her gardening days, but also giving the insects and pollinators the bonus of nectar. It's an important lesson that a garden has to be joyful as well as productive, especially in winter, when the weather makes us less inclined to go out for harvests.
Liz shares some of her favourite plants for year-round joy, some of her inspirational gardeners and also offers top tips for getting started with a veg garden.
